“Sochi” won at home “Torch” during the match of the 6th round of the FONBET Way of the RPL Russian Cup.
The meeting took place at the Fisht Arena and ended with a victory for the hosts with a score of 2:0. They distinguished themselves within the framework of Sochi Nikita Burmistrov (29) and Timofey Margasov (42).
Thanks to this victory, Sochi finished in third place in Group A with 8 points and will continue to fight for the trophy on the Path of Regions. The Voronezh team took fourth place with 6 points and completed its performance in the tournament.
The first two places in Group A and tickets to the RPL playoffs were previously secured by Orenburg and CSKA. Sochi has the same number of points with CSKA, but lost to the military club in personal meetings, therefore took third place.
