Athletistic / Football. Galatasaray midfielder Tanguy Ndombele has been expelled from the Turkish club. The Frenchman violated his sporting regime, for which he paid with administrative sanctions.
According to the Turkish newspaper Fotospor, after Galatasaray’s defeat against Bayern (1:3) in the home match of the 3rd round of the group stage of the Champions League, Ndombele, while he was at the hotel with his team, ordered a hamburger, fries and Cola. U Ndombele, on loan from Istanbul’s Tottenham Hotspur, is 6kg overweight. The source notes that the Lions coaching staff told the player that he would not appear on the field until he reduced his weight to 75 kg.
Note that Galatasaray has the possibility of buying Ndombele’s contract from Tottenham for 15 million euros in the summer of 2024. However, the Turkish club is now considering the possibility of early termination of the Frenchman’s lease.
This season, Ndombele has played seven matches (4 in the Turkish Super League and 3 in the Champions League) and has not been effective. In total, the 26-year-old footballer spent 123 minutes on the pitch.
