It’s a shame about the result. I saw a team that had changed a lot over the last few games, but that played a superb combination of personality and quality. The choice was the result of an emergency. We only had two central defenders, we decided to risk one of them, who was the youngest. Four we fight, we went to five. This match should give us more inspiration.”
What responses did you receive from the team?
“Nobody mutilated themselves. I was sure that even if we changed eleven players, we would have played a good match, and so it was. We have alternative and quality. These matches, played in this way, should make us enthusiastic. Even those who play less. I thought it was a great night even though we didn’t deliver.”
