Kozak scored the decisive blow
In the quarter final match Ukrainian Cup Polesie beat in a penalty shootout at their stadium Alexandria.
The main time of the match did not determine the winner – during the allotted 90 minutes of the match, neither team managed to score a goal. At the end of normal time the match was interrupted due to an air raid raid.
In overtime, the opponents were also unable to determine who was the strongest, and in the penalty shootout, the host players were more accurate – 4:3. At Alexandria, Sergei Loginov and Yuriy Kopyna made mistakes from the point, and at Polesie, Evgeniy Morozko. The decisive blow was scored by Artem Kozak.
Earlier, Shakhtar Donetsk reached the semi-finals of the Ukrainian Cup, beating Victoria (3:0). Also in the 1/2 finals of the tournament, Chernomorets will play, having beaten Zarya at home (4:1). The last semi-finalist was Vorskla, which confidently defeated Obolon away (3:0).
In the next match of the Ukrainian Championship, Polesie will play against Krivbass, and Alexandria will play with Dnepr-1.
