Athletistic/Football. The day before, on November 1, Spartak Moscow lost at home to Krasnodar (2:3) in the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the Russian Cup. One of the anti-heroes of the match was the red and white striker Alexander Sobolev.

The Spartak striker scored a goal in the meeting with the Bulls, converting a penalty in the first half, but fans remember him more for the fact that he managed to break the rules by shooting the second penalty at the end of the match. VAR intervened and canceled Krasnodar’s goal, since during the penalty, Sobolev slipped and touched the ball twice, which is prohibited by the regulations.

It should be noted that Alexandre refused to communicate with journalists after this meeting. He walked silently through the mixed zone, leaving no time for the gathered journalists.

Spartak scored 12 points in six matches and finished in first place in Group D, qualifying for the National Cup RPL route playoffs ahead of schedule.
