Midfielder “Manchester City” Kevin De Bruyne said he couldn’t say anything specific about when he will return to the field after a hamstring injury.
The footballer was injured on August 11 during the opening match of the English Championship against Burnley (3:0) and in September the 32-year-old midfielder underwent surgery.
“At the moment I feel good, but the hamstring injury is very serious. The Manchester City medical staff are in daily contact with the surgeon who operated on me in Belgium. They are coming next week to see how the recovery is going because I have an important scan.
As for my return, they haven’t given me a date yet, because it is very important that the injury is 100% healed before returning to the field. For the first time, I have a period during which I can think about how to evolve to maintain my level,” De Bruyne told RTBF.
Earlier, City head coach Pep Guardiola said the player would need 3-4 months to recover.
