Inter Miami cancels November tour of China

Cause: death of Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang

Inter Miami officially announced the cancellation tour in China, which was scheduled for November. By ESPN informationtour organizer NSN canceled the event due to the death of Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Li Keqiang.

As part of their tour of China, Inter Miami planned to hold two friendly matches with Chinese Super League clubs – Qingdao Hainiu (November 5) and Chengdu Rongcheng (November 8).

The owner of Inter Miami is David Beckham. Since January, Ukrainian defender Sergei Krivtsov has been playing for the team. In the summer, Barcelona legends became his teammates – Argentinean Lionel Messi, Spaniards Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba. The team is coached by ex-Argentine national team coach Gerardo Martino.

Inter Miami finished the MLS regular season in 14th place in the Eastern Conference and did not qualify for the playoffs. In August the team won the Leagues Cup.
