Forward “Barcelona » Ousmane Dembele about to renew the contract with the Catalan team, according to AS.
According to the publication, the Frenchman’s salary will be reduced by 40%. Dembele only has one offer from the Blue Garnets as other clubs refused to accept the striker’s financial demands, and a move to PSG fell through after Kylian Mbappé extended his contract with the Parisians.
Earlier outlets reported that Barcelona management have asked Dembele to make a final decision on whether to continue his career until June 30.
Dembele has been with the Catalan club since 2017. In the 2021/22 season, he scored 2 goals and made 13 assists in 32 matches.
