As became known Sport Arenamidfielder Kirill Kovalets can go to SC Dnepr-1.
It is reported that the Dnipro club was interested in the midfielder during the coaching of Igor Jovicevich. Now Kovalets is in the status of a free agent after leaving Alexandria.
In October last year, the midfielder successfully underwent knee surgery. Last season, the midfielder made 11 appearances for Alexandria in all competitions, scoring one goal and one assist.
Recall that the head coach of Metallist Oleksandr Kucher may soon head the SC Dnepr-1, replacing Igor Jovicevich. The Dnipros also offered the current vice-president of Metalist Yevgeny Krasnikov the position of the club’s sports director.
Last season, SC Dnipro-1 took third place in the Ukrainian Premier League, thanks to which it qualified for the Europa League.
