Dynamo goalkeeper assures that no one melted the coach, and the standings look “shocking”
Goalkeeper Dynamo Georgy Bushchan commented on the defeat from Shakhtarresignation Mircea Lucescu and the results of the team as a whole.
“We are in a bit of a crisis, perhaps the young guys don’t have enough experience, there aren’t enough experienced footballers. It happens. I used to think it was bad, but it can be even worse.”
“Life doesn’t end there. We will continue to play, fight for the emblem, for the white and blue colors and for our fans.”
“Lucescu’s resignation? I’m sorry he left like that. First of all, he gave us a lot. But times have changed a little, about 15 experienced football players left the team. Changes have begun. Unfortunately, this result prompted him to leave.”
“Claims from fans, supposedly the players melted the coach? Tell me, how can you play for Dynamo Kyiv and melt the coach? I do not understand this. Most of the country is rooting for us. We feel support in every city where we are. We have been playing in the academy since childhood, and in every tournament where we take part, at every level, we have one task – to win. We can only melt ourselves, but not the coach or anyone else.”
“Yes, there is no result. But I believe that in terms of the game we did not lose a single match. There were mistakes, at some points we didn’t finish the game, we were punished – and that’s all. Something went wrong. But we tune in to every game and support each other. But something doesn’t work.”
“The standings look shocking. I was counting on a different start. We will not give up, we are still Dynamo Kyiv. Let’s get ready, we need to cross this red line. After the red line there is always a white line. I hope that luck will turn its face on us and everything will be fine.”
Let us remind you that Dynamo lost to Shakhtar (0:1) in the home match of the 13th round of the UPL, showing a good game in the first half. This defeat was the 100th for the Kiev team in the UPL, as well as the 34th in all tournaments under the leadership of Mircea Lucescu.
The 78-year-old Romanian resigned after this defeat and announced his retirement.

With 16 points after 10 matches, the white-blues are in 7th place, ten points behind the leading Krivbass (played two games more). It is with the team from Krivoy Rog that Dynamo will have to fight in the next round, on November 12.
