Shakhtar requested 40 million euros for Sudakov’s transfer

Juventus continues to be interested in the Ukrainian midfielder Shakhtar Georgy Sudakov.

The Old Lady have three targets on their shortlist for the upcoming winter transfer window. In addition to Sudakov, these are midfielders Khefren Thuram (Nice) and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (Tottenham).

The management of the Italian club has already contacted the football players’ clubs with a preliminary request. The miners valued Sudakov at 40 million euros; for Thuram and Hojbjerg, Juventus will have to pay 30 million euros each.

It was noted that Sudakov is the main goal of the new sporting director of Juventus, Claudio Giuntoli. Also showing interest in Sudakov are Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City, Brighton and a number of clubs from Portugal, including Benfica of Ukrainian Anatoly Trubin.

This season, 21-year-old Sudakov has scored three goals and provided one assist in 12 matches for Shakhtar. Recently, the midfielder scored his debut goal for the Ukrainian national team in a match with North Macedonia (2:0).

Shakhtar takes third place in the Ukrainian championship. Juventus is in second place in the Serie A standings.
