Odessa players played most of the game with ten men
In the match of the 13th round of the Ukrainian Championship Metalist 1925 won Chernomorets with a score of 2:1. The meeting took place at the Left Bank stadium.
Odessa took the lead in the 20th minute – Andrey Shtogrin scored. But at the end of the half, Roman Grigorchuk’s team remained in the minority: Samson Iede was sent off for two yellow cards.
After the break, Metalist 1925 managed to level the score through the efforts of Andrey Boryachuk. And the victory for the Kharkiv team was brought by Ari Moura’s precise strike.
After this match, Metalist 1925 scored 15 points and is in ninth place in the UPL standings. Chernomorets is in sixth position.
In the next round of the Ukrainian Championship, Metalist 1925 will play against Polesie, and Chernomorets will play with Rukh.
