Chernomorets lost to Metalist 1925 in the minority
Head coach Chernomorets Roman Grigorchuk commented on the team’s defeat from Metallista 1925 (1:2) in the 13th round UPL. He noted that the course of the game was affected by the removal of Mariners forward Samson Iede.
“Two yellow Iedes that I can’t agree with. When we played in the minority, Metalist 1925 at full strength was stronger than us. After being sent off, Ieda had to change the game plan, because we understood that it would be a different game in the minority. A number of things in how the game is structured need to be changed, and it’s not easy. Today my mood is completely ruined,” Grigorchuk said.
“We played worse, but we were in the minority. The reason is precisely the distance, and not that we did not have enough strength.”
Chernomorets is in sixth place in the UPL. On November 12, the Sailors will host Rukh.
