Marchenko lost in the qualifying final
The first racket of Ukraine Vitaly Sachko made it to the main draw of the tournament ATP 250 in Bulgarian Sofia.
In the qualifying final, Sachko beat Nerman Fatić from Bosnia and Herzegovina in an almost 3-hour match. The Ukrainian lost the first game in a tiebreaker, but managed to turn the tide of the meeting and win the next two sets – 6:3, 7:6.
Sachko will play in the ATP tournament for the fourth time in his career and for the second time in 2023. In May, Vitaly lost in the first round of the ATP 250 tournament in Geneva.
Another representative of Ukraine – Ilya Marchenko — failed to reach the main draw of the competition in Bulgaria. In the final qualifying match, he lost to the Frenchman Terence Atman in two sets.
