Former head coach Dynamo Mircea Lucescu spoke about the details of his departure from the Kyiv club. The coach emphasized that the team experienced serious difficulties with each game.
“I don’t know how my departure was interpreted. A message about his retirement appeared from the team. I only left the team, but did not end my career.”

Lucescu resigned after Dynamo’s defeat in the match with Shakhtar (0:1). The Romanian specialist has led the Kyiv team since 2020. In the first season under the leadership of the Romanian, the white-blues became the champion of Ukraine, and also won the Ukrainian Cup and Super Cup.
Alexander Shovkovsky has been appointed to the position of acting head coach of Dynamo Kyiv. The white-blues will play their next match on November 12 against Krivbass.
