Ex-Dynamo captain – about Lucescu: I will never forget

Sergei Sidorchuk is sad about the resignation of Mircea Lucescu from the post of head coach of Kyiv Dynamo. Former captain Dynamoand current Belgian player Westerlowarmly remembered the joint work with the specialist in Romania and thanked the specialist for his work.

I will never forget how Mister met my family in Bucharest when we needed shelter after the start of a massive invasion. He and his wife are very kind to us, we meet almost every day, talk – this is very important and important for us. They say, in dark times, bright people are seen. As for Mircea, that’s exactly what happened. When he was in the hospital, I was there too.

I am sure that Mister deserves to end his career in Ukrainian football on a more positive note, with the status of a champion and with a cup in his hands. But this is life, this is football.

He knows what he is doing and at what time. It’s just unfortunate that many people don’t understand his philosophy and approach. I immediately request you to avoid negative comments if you want to write like that.
