The businessman plans to take the team from the Third Division to the elite
Former president of amateur FC Peremoga (Dnepr) Femis Sagirov bought a Cypriot club Geroskipou. It is reported that the businessman has traveled abroad and is in Cyprus.
Geroskipou was promoted to the Cypriot third division last season. The team’s task this season is to advance to the second division, and then to the elite. Sagirov promises to create financial conditions so that the team can reach the elite, passing through one division per year.
Geroskipou leads the Cypriot Third Division Championship with 15 points. The team of the Ukrainian businessman will play the next match on November 11 against Polemidion.
FC Peremoga made its debut in the Ukrainian Second League in the 2020/21 season, finishing in ninth place. The club suspended professional performances after the full-scale invasion of Russian troops into Ukraine.
