Rukh tied with Obolon
Head coach Rukha Vitaly Ponomarev was dissatisfied with the result of the match with Obolon (2:2) in the 13th round Ukrainian Premier League.
“Today we are unhappy with the result. The team was preparing for victory. The game started well – we scored a goal and controlled the situation on the field. But the defense’s hesitant actions led to us conceding two goals.”
“This is explained by the age of our players, however, they must draw conclusions so that this does not happen again. When the goalkeeper and defenders play with uncertainty, this mood is transmitted to the entire team. We need them to play reliably and inspire their partners with their confidence.”
“We needed to step up our attack to level the score and try to win the match. The replacement players performed well. Karabin scored a goal and had one more chance to score again.”
“We were missing Klimchuk, but Rukh scored twice, there were many chances. I don’t want us to be dependent on one player, for this the team must grow. It is necessary for the players to draw conclusions from these mistakes.
Now we play more emotional football – sometimes there is a lack of skill. “Rukh will not deviate from his principles and will play his usual attacking football.”
The Lviv team scored an early goal, but then conceded twice. Rukh was brought a draw at the end of the match by Yaroslav Karabin three minutes after coming on as a substitute.
Ponomarev’s team scored 21 points and ranks fifth in the UPL. In the next match, Rukh will play away against Chernomorets on November 12.
