The London Derby starts at 22:00
Ukrainian winger Chelsea Mikhail Mudrik will start from the bench in the match with Tottenham in the 11th round English Premier League.
Mudrik recovered from a microtrauma a few days ago. The Ukrainian himself commented on his return to training with the words “It’s a pleasant feeling to be back on the field.”
The 22-year-old Ukrainian missed the last two matches of the Blues – with Brentford (0:2) in the championship and Blackburn (2:0) in the English League Cup. According to head coach Mauricio Pochettino, the Ukrainian suffered minor injury. Mudrik subsequently completed a rehabilitation program.
This season, Mudryk has played in 9 matches for the Blues and scored two goals. One of them – a cross against Arsenal – was recognized as Chelsea’s best goal over the past month.
Chelsea is in 13th place in the Premier League, and Tottenham, if successful, has the opportunity to return to the first line of the table. The London Derby kicks off at 10pm.
