Shakhtar won a minimal victory over Dynamo, after this match Lucescu resigned
Mentor Shakhtar Marino Pusic recognized as the best coach of the 13th round Ukrainian Premier League according to All-Ukrainian Association of Football Coaches.
In the debut match under the leadership of Pusic in the UPL, the Orange-and-Blacks managed to beat Dynamo (1:0) in a fundamental confrontation.

Pusic was officially appointed head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk on October 24. He made his debut at the head of the Miners in an away Champions League match against Barcelona (1:2), after which Shakhtar defeated Victoria in the Cup (3:0).
On November 3, Dynamo played a strong first half. But Shakhtar won a minimal victory thanks to a goal from Alexander Zubkov at the beginning of the second half. The Kiev team suffered their 100th defeat in the UPL.
The match with Shakhtar was the last for Mircea Lucescu as head coach of Dynamo. The coach resigned and announced his retirement from coaching.
Shakhtar ranks third in the UPL with 24 points. Today, November 7, the Miners will play against Barcelona in the 4th round of the group stage of the Champions League. The meeting starts at 19:45.
