The Ukrainian champions will meet the Avispa Fukuoka club before their winter holidays.
Donetsk Shakhtar will return to the practice of holding charity matches. The Japanese club Avispa Fukuoka, which recently won the Japanese J-League Cup for the first time in history, announced a match against the champions of Ukraine.
The game is planned to be held in Japan. It should take place on December 18 at 19:00 local time. So, the Pitmen will postpone their winter holidays, because the last official match of Pusic’s team this year is scheduled for December 13. It will be the match of the 6th round of the group stage of the Champions League against Porto .
As stated on Avispa Fukuoka’s official website, the charity match will be held to “spread support for Ukraine throughout the world through football, as well as to donate all proceeds to the reconstruction of Ukraine.”
They also plan to invite Ukrainian refugees currently in Japan to the match. Ticket prices range from $5 to $150.
Remind you that earlier the head coach of Shakhtar promised to study Ukrainian for six months.
