Former Russian national team striker Dmitry Bulykin expressed the opinion that Krasnodar does not demonstrate performances in the championship this season.
– I think “Krasnodar” does not show the championship game. There is not enough power, some kind of core. They are lucky in many matches. They are unlikely to take first place, they should grab the top three. The main fight for the trophy will take place in the second part of the season, after the winter break.
The big guys will get in shape, maybe buy strong newcomers, and then the Krasnodar team will struggle. “The Bulls were lucky that the Zenit and Moscow teams did not start very successfully, but little by little everything is falling into place,” Bulykin said according to Rossiyskaya Gazeta.
After 14 matches, Krasnodar occupies first place in the RPL standings, gaining 31 points.
