The Blancos coach expects new acquisitions only in the summer transfer window
Head coach of Madrid Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti stated that there are no plans to sign new players in the winter transfer window.
“We are not planning to sign any players in January. I think the January market is closed for us.”
“Militao and Courtois will be back before the end of the season. Nothing will happen in January. In the summer, maybe…”
It was previously reported that the Blancos are considering buying out the contract of goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga. The deal with Chelsea may include the Ukrainian goalkeeper of Madrid Andrey Lunin. At the same time, Ancelotti wants to maintain the current goalkeeper lineup until the end of the season due to the injury of main goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
Real are in second place in La Liga with 29 points. The Blancos will play their next match against Braga on November 8 in the Champions League.
