Manchester City and RB Leipzig advanced to the 1/8 finals of the Champions League ahead of schedule

The Citizens and the Bulls became unattainable for the Young Boys and Red Star

In group G Champions League Two matches of the 4th round took place.

Manchester city defeated on his own field Young Boys – 3:0. Erling Haaland scored a brace, and Phil Foden scored another goal. Note that the Swiss team finished the match shorthanded after Sandro Lauper was sent off.

RB Leipzig minimally won on the road Red Star – 2:1. Javi Simons put the visitors ahead in the 8th minute. Towards the end of the match, Lois Openda increased the advantage of the German team. The home team reduced the gap thanks to an own goal from Benjamin Henrichs.

Manchester City leads Group G with 12 points. RB Leipzig has 9 points and is in second position. Both clubs advanced to the Champions League playoffs early.

Crvena Zvezda is in third place with 1 point, ahead of Young Boys in additional indicators.

On November 28, Manchester City will host RB Leipzig, and Young Boys will play Crvena Zvezda at home.
