Rukh U-19 failed to oppose anything to the Danish Midtjylland in the first meeting of the second round of the Champions Path UEFA Youth League – 0:4.
Formally, the home match for the Ukrainian team took place in Stalowa Wola, Poland. After the first half, the Danes led with a minimal score, but after the break they left their opponents no chance, scoring three more times. Nigerian forward Stanley Iheanacho scored a double.
The return match will take place in Denmark on November 29. To get into the European Cup spring, the young Lviv team needs to accomplish a feat and win back a four-goal handicap on the road.
