The Ukrainians led by two goals after Kalyagina’s double, but the hosts were able to come back
Ukrainian women’s futsal team tied with Slovenia in repeated sparring – 2:2. The control match took place in the Slovenian town of Podcetrtek.
Anastasia Kalyagina scored her debut goals in the national team jersey. Before the break, she played a finishing goal after Kristina Stepanenko, and in the second half she successfully completed a solo pass.
The Slovenians managed to quickly pull one goal back, and towards the end of the match the hosts equalized the score. 2:2 – that was the final result.
Let us remind you that on November 7, in the first sparring, the Ukrainian team managed to beat their Slovenian rivals with a score of 2:1.
In March 2023, the Ukrainian national team became vice-champions of Europe in futsal.
The first ever Women’s Futsal World Cup will take place in 2025. A total of 16 teams will take part in the tournament, with 4 quotas allocated to Europe.
