Ukrainian professional football can expect abundant growth next summer
As became known Sports Arenaa number of Ukrainian amateur clubs are interested in participating in the championship Second League season 2024/25.
In particular, such groups as Kulikov-Yunost (Upper/Lower Belka), Phoenix (Submonastery), Penuel (Krivoy Rog), Probius (Horodenka), Podolyany (Ternopil), Titanium (Odessa), FAPF (Ivano-Frankivsk).
All named clubs are participants in the Ukrainian Championship among amateurs 2023/24. Some of them have already submitted documents for certification. In addition to those mentioned, there are other amateur clubs interested in participating in the Ukrainian professional football system next season.
15 teams started in the current Second League championship. During the 2023/24 season, Nikolaev Vast was excluded from the drawing.
At the moment, YUKSA is leading in the Second League (33 points), with Chaika, Druzhba and Zvyagel two points behind it. Three more rounds of the championship will be played before the end of the year.
