Athletistic/Football. Head coach of Cypriot Aris Alexey Shpilevsky spoke about the readiness of striker Alexander Kokorin to play the match of the 4th round of the group stage of the Europa League with Spanish Betis.

“Kokorin missed several matches, but now Alexander is already working in the general group. He will be ready to play with Betis,” Shpilevsky told the UEFA press service.

Alexander Kokorin is playing for Aris for the second consecutive season on loan from Fiorentina. His contract with the Cypriot and Italian clubs runs until the end of the 2023/2024 season. This season, the 32-year-old Russian has participated in seven matches, scoring one goal and one assist.

Aris has scored 3 points in three matches and occupies the last, 4th place in the standings of his group. Betis alone leads the S. quartet with six points.

The match between Betis and Aris will take place today, November 9, in Seville (Spain) and will start at 23:00 Moscow time.
