The mini-qualifying tournament will be held in the Maltese city of Ta Qali
The composition has become known Ukrainian national team U-19 for the qualifying round European Championship 2024.
Blue-yellow coach Oleg Kuznetsov called 21 players to the training camp. Among them are goalkeeper Vyacheslav Surkis, defender Alexey Gusev and midfielder Roman Salenko.
Goalkeepers: David Fesyuk (Hajduk, Croatia), Vladislav Kravets (Miner), Vyacheslav Surkis (Dynamo).
Defenders: Stepan Lysenko (Hajduk, Croatia), Alexey Gusev, Denis Diky, Nazar Balaba, Taras Mikhavko (all – Dynamo), Nikolay Ogarkov (Miner).
Midfielders: Maxim Derkach (Estoril Praia, Portugal), Dmitry Kremchanin, Roman Salenko (both Dynamo), Daniil Vashchenko (Alexandria), Vitaly Mikhailiv (Minay), Bogdan Manuilov (San Jose, Spain) Maxim Melnichenko (Dnepr-1), Evgeniy Mikityuk (Polesie).
Forwards: Timur Tuterov (Sunderland, England) Sergey Panchenko (Rukh), Alexander Pishchur (Puskas Academy, Hungary), Matvey Ponomarenko (Dynamo).
Oleg Kuznetsov’s team is playing in Group 7, where their opponents will be the teams of Malta, Slovakia and Kosovo. The mini-qualifying tournament will take place in the Maltese city of Ta Qali. The fights will take place at the Centenary Stadium.
The selection for the Ukrainian team will begin with a match against Malta on November 15. Next, Kuznetsov’s team will play against Kosovo (November 18) and Slovakia (November 21). All games will start at 12:00 Kyiv time.
The teams that take the first two places, as well as the best team from 13 groups that takes third place, will advance to the elite round of qualification. Together with Portugal, which previously received a ticket to this stage, the participants will form seven groups.
The winners of the elite round groups will advance to the finals of the European Championship, along with hosts Northern Ireland. Euro 2024 U-19 will take place from 15 to 28 July 2024.
