The Argentine has scored twice as much in Serie A as any of his three closest rivals
Attack Inter Lautaro Martinez recognized as the best player of October in Serie A.
The 26-year-old forward leads the list of Serie A scorers with 12 goals after 11 rounds – the three closest pursuers (Olivier Giroud, Romelu Lukaku and Victor Osimhen) have half as many goals scored.
The Argentine scored four of these dozen against Salernitana (4:0) on the last day of September. Specifically in October, he scored twice – against Bologna (2:2) and Torino (3:0).
Inter leads Serie A with 28 points. The Nerazzurri will next host Frosinone on November 12.
On November 8, Lautaro’s goal brought Inter victory (1:0) in the away Champions League match against Salzburg. This result allowed Simone Inzaghi’s team to advance to the playoffs of the main European Cup ahead of schedule.
