Retired player CSKA Valéry Masalitine shared his expectations from the match of the 15th days of the WORLD RPL “Torch” – CSKA.

— How will this match go? Although the question probably is how much will they score?
– No not at all. Today, “Fakel” is in very good condition. Tashuev shook them up, changed their system a little, and that system started working and bringing in points. In the last match against Spartak, there was an unimportant area, where moral and strong-willed qualities came to the fore. “Fakel” possesses these qualities. So I think the pitch will be difficult and we should expect a tough match for both teams. Whoever does best will have an advantage.
CSKA has long been accustomed to combining and playing, but on Fakel’s field it is enough to simplify football. “Fakel” showed this in the match against “Spartak” – they simplified the game. At the first opportunity, the ball was served. Especially for Spartak, crosses from the flank were a problem. Therefore, here, to the extent that CSKA adapts, it will resist it. Faizullaev himself was not accustomed to such contacts, to physical and violent fights. In this regard, he is naturally inferior to everyone, but he has his advantages. The general question is how he will show himself here on this pitch. Here, moral and voluntary qualities are highlighted. In other words, you have to endure, you have to play such strong football. But this type of football suits Zabolotny better, who likes to hang around somewhere, win and put pressure. So it will be very difficult for CSKA.

— If the terrain is difficult, 2-3 goals maximum. Maybe even zeros. It all depends on the area. For me it is natural that the match is moved to Moscow and in the spring it is played on a good field in Voronezh. But you haven’t been there, what should you do? After 14 rounds, the army team ranks third in the RPL standings with 24 points, and Fakel is in tenth place with 18 points.
