Athletistic/Football. Zenit striker Ivan Sergeyev said that although he was never a fan of Spartak, he attended the Red-White matches thanks to Evgeny Makeev, the former defender of the Moscow club.

“I attended Spartak matches because Zhenya Makeev gave me tickets. He is from my hometown of Cherepovets, and we communicate well. I supported him, worried. It was nice to see that our guy from Cherepovets plays at the RPL level in Spartak “But I never supported Spartak,” the footballer said.

Sergeev was also asked what he would do if he received an offer from Spartak.

“They won’t invite me anymore. I still have a year and a half of contract and I will already be 30. I won’t go. I’m not sure. It’s a provocative question, but the answer will be very probably “no”, 99 percent,” Sergeyev said in an interview with the “SBG Show”.

Sergeev has been a player for the Saint Petersburg club since January 2022.
