Athletistic/Football. Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan became the best player of October in the Russian Premier League. Information about this was released by the league’s press service.

Also among the five contenders for this award were Rubin goalkeeper Yuri Dupin, CSKA defenders Milan Gayich, Zenit striker Ivan Sergeev and Rostov striker Egor Golenkov. Spertsyan became the best according to the results of the voting of RPL experts (two votes), and Sergeev and Golenkov shared first place in the poll of commentators of the official RPL channel (two votes each), while Gayich received the most votes in the fan vote. Since different players won in each of the three votes, the leader of the RPL expert vote is recognized as the winner. This is why the Armenian footballer became the best player of the month of October. It should be noted that none of the Krasnodar players have received this award before.

Eduard Spertsyan played three Russian Premier League matches in October and managed to score two goals. After 14 rounds of the Russian Championship, Krasnodar has 31 points and is in first place in the standings. Today, November 11, the St. Petersburg “bulls” will meet their main pursuer, the “Zenith”.
