The Kharkov club lost to Polesie with a score of 1:2
Mentor Metalist 1925 Oleg Golodyuk commented on the outcome of the meeting with Polesie (1:2) in the 14th round of the UPL. The coach expressed dissatisfaction with the arbitration of the meeting led by Yaroslav Kozyk.
“It’s difficult to talk about anything now, emotions are reigning now, we need to step away a little. We thanked the guys for this match today. There were areas where we needed to improve in many ways. Because it was not possible to play as planned.
“We must note the class of the opponent, who played against a very good team, but considering that they had three more people on the field today, there are no complaints about the team. We have complaints against the referee about the entire 90 minutes, about the way he played today’s match. I hope he sleeps peacefully today.”
“First of all, we need to work on getting out of defense. We probably need to play calmer in some moments. They did not have time to correctly take their positions and carried out not very meaningful attacks. We gave the ball to Polesie very quickly and our team played mostly defensively.”
“I am sure that we are strong, we will survive this and try to improve the situation in the next games.”
Metalist 1925 is in 10th place in the UPL standings. In the next round, the Kharkov team will play Veres on November 25.
