Mikolenko is already having the most productive season in the Premier League. Two goals to go before repeating goal record

Vitaly Mykolenko scored twice in the last two Premier League matches. November 4 Ukraine national team defender scored in Everton’s game with Brighton, bringing the Toffees a draw. 11th of November – Crystal Palace scoredmaking a significant contribution to the team’s final victory.

Two goals are the best performance of Mikolenko, who is spending his second season in Foggy Albion, in the English Championship. In the first six months at Everton, the Ukrainian only scored a goal against Leicester at the end of the 2022/2023 season. In the summer of 2022, Mikolenko scored for the first time for the Ukrainian national team, distinguishing himself in the Nations League game with Armenia.

Moreover, this season in terms of performance is one of the best for Vitaly in his career. Before moving to Liverpool, Vitaly played 132 matches for Dynamo, in which he scored seven goals. Moreover, only in two seasons did he score more than one goal for the white and blue.

Thus, in the 2019/2020 season, Vitaly distinguished himself three times in the UPL, once in the Europa League. Moreover, what’s interesting is that Mikolenko scored all the goals in the Ukrainian championship that season to one team – Alexandria. In the second most important European Cup, Vitaly scored a goal against Malmo.

Mikolenko scored two goals in the 2020/2021 Ukrainian Championship, scoring in matches with Dnepr-1 and Kolos. In the 2018/2019 season in the Europa League, Vitaly scored against Rennes.

An interesting detail: in 11 matches in which Mikolenko scored, his teams lost only once – Dynamo lost to Malmo (3:4). In nine cases, the Ukrainian teams won, and once they tied. We expect Vitaly to continue the series and repeat the tradition in the Ukraine-Italy match as part of the Euro 2024 selection.
