Maksimov’s team won with a score of 3:1
In the central match of the 14th round of the Ukrainian championship Dnepr-1 won Miner with a score of 3:1. The meeting took place at the Lviv Arena.
The miners opened the scoring at the very beginning of the game – Daniil Sikan scored. But at the end of the first half, Yuri Maksimov’s team managed to win back: after a corner kick, Eduard Sarapiy scored his goal.
After the break, the visitors not only took the lead, but also consolidated their advantage. First, Alexei Gutsulyak scored with a beautiful strike, and a few minutes later Bogdan Lednev scored from a free kick.
After this match, Dnepr-1 scored 30 points and took first place in the UPL standings. Shakhtar lost for the first time under Marino Pusic in the Ukrainian Championship and is in fourth position.
In the next round of the Ukrainian championship, Dnepr-1 will play against Chernomorets, and Shakhtar will play with Polesie.
