Former head coach of Dynamo Moscow Stanislav Cherchesov On , he remembered his collaboration with blue and white goalkeeper Igor Leshchuk.
Cherchesov led the Moscow team in 2014-2015.
— When I worked (at Dynamo), I took him into the second team. He was already a serious guy. He, (Roman) Zobnin, (Dmitry) Zhivoglyadov. We took a lot of young people. He is a serious guy, I hope he will gain a foothold,” Cherchessov said on the air of the program “After Football with Georgy Cherdantsev”.
This season, 27-year-old Leshchuk has played nine matches for Dynamo in all tournaments, keeping the goal intact in four.
Dynamo ranks third in the RPL standings, gaining 25 points in 15 rounds.
