The duel between Grêmio and Corinthians had complaints from both sides, but the black and white team scored two controversial moves; CBF publishes conversation between teams
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) released this Sunday, 12th, the audio of the communication between the referee Rodrigo José Pereira de Lima and the VAR team in the game between Guild It is Corinthians, at the Arena, in Porto Alegre. Timão won the match 1-0.
The game had the expulsions of Bruno Méndezfrom Corinthians, and Bruno Alves, from Grêmio. The black and white player received a red card after a VAR review, 10 minutes into the first half.

The referee understood that there was no foul. The video team had the same interpretation. Check out the dialogue between the referee and the VAR booth:
“He (João Pedro) puts his arms on his (Matheus Bidu) body, he even has contact with the player’s leg, but that doesn’t make him fall, that contact doesn’t make the player fall”, he said Rafael Tracivideo referee.
“He delays his stride for the fall”, declared an assistant.
At halftime of the game, the Corinthians manager, Alessandro Nunes, tried to invade the room that housed the VAR equipment at Arena do Grêmio. The center that controls the VAR, however, is at the CBF headquarters, in Rio de Janeiro.
