After several months of strategic planning, the Como 1907 board decided that dynamic changes were in the best interests of the club. Longo joined Como in September 2022 and helped the team avoid relegation with a 13th-place finish last season. Cesc Fabregas, who currently coaches Primavera del Como 1907, will hold his first training session on Wednesday morning.
Mirvan Suvarso, spokesman for the ownership group, commented: “We thank Moreno Longo for his hard work and dedication, especially in leading the team after a difficult period last season. However, we want to embark on a new path that we hope will bring more emotion and pleasure to the fans of Como and beyond. We hope to be able to make a new coaching appointment in the near future.
