The first official coaching position in Cesc’s career
Como announced the appointment Cesc Fabregas for the position of acting head coach.
The Spaniard replaced Moreno Longo in the position. Before this, Fabregas worked with Como’s youth team.
This summer, Cesc ended his football career as a player with the Italian team. In 2022, Fabregas joined the Italian team and managed to play 17 official matches, in which he gave two assists.
The famous midfielder managed to play in Arsenal, Barcelona, Chelsea and Monaco during his career. The player also played for the Spanish national team, with which he became the winner of the 2010 World Cup and twice European champion (in 2008 and 2012). During his career, Fabregas played 739 matches, scoring 125 goals and providing 217 assists.
Como is in sixth place in the Italian Serie B standings after 12 matches played.
