Midfielder “Manchester United” Christian Eriksen was absent for about a month due to a knee injury, reports the press service of the English football club.
Striker Rasmus Høilunn also suffered muscle damage, but the player is expected to recover by the end of November. As a result, both players were left out of the Danish squad for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifying matches.
This season, Eriksen has played 15 matches, scored one goal and made two assists. Højlund has five goals in 15 games.
