Katerina won two qualifying matches in one day
Ukrainian tennis player Katerina Volodko made it to the main draw of the tournament ITF W100 in Japanese Takasaki.
Within one day, the Ukrainian managed to win two victories in a row. First, she beat local tennis player Mei Yamaguchi in two sets, losing only three games to her opponent in total.
The qualifying final was much more difficult for Katerina. She exchanged two confident victories with the representative of Taiwan, Zao Chiayi, after which, in a heated fight, she was able to snatch the final victory.
In the first round of the tournament, Volodko will fight with Wei Sijia from China.
