The football player was injured in a match with Polesie
Midfielder Metalist 1925 Beka Vachiberadze was injured in the 14th round match Ukrainian Premier League against Polesie (1:2).
The player was diagnosed with damage to the cartilage at the junction of the sternum and ribs. According to preliminary information, recovery will take about three weeks.
27-year-old Vachiberadze, a product of the Shakhtar system, played for Chernomorets at the UPL level, and also traveled a lot in Europe: the second team of the Spanish Betis, the Latvian Russian Football Club, the Belgian Lommel, the Georgian Torpedo Kutaisi.
The central midfielder joined Metalist 1925 in September 2022. In total, he played 33 matches for the Kharkov club, scored two goals, and gave three assists.
Metalist 1925 have won only one victory in their last eight matches and are in 11th place in the UPL with 15 points. In the next round, the Kharkov team will play Veres on November 25.
