The Ukraine defender has scored two goals in his last two matches for Everton
Defender Ukrainian national team Vitaly Mykolenko shared his impressions about the start of the team’s training camp before the match with Italy in the qualifying round European Championship 2024.
“Everyone arrived in a good mood, positive emotions are very important to us. Although it doesn’t matter how we played in the clubs, what the results were, because you always come to the national team with good emotions. Mykolenko has scored two goals in his last two games for Everton. The Ukrainian defender scored in the match with Brighton (1:1), and then scored in the first minute of the match with Crystal Palace (3:2).
Sergei Rebrov’s team began their training camp in Gdansk. Ten football players took part in the first training session. The rest of the players worked out in the gym.
In Gdansk, Rebrov’s team will hold a sparring match on November 16 against Lechia, for which Ukrainians Bohdan Sarnavsky, Ivan Zhelizko and Maxim Khlan, as well as ex-Krivbass player Rifet Kapic, are currently playing.
Sergei Rebrov’s team will play against Italy on November 20 in Leverkusen (Germany) at the Bay Arena stadium, starting at 20:45 local time or at 21:45 Kyiv time. At the end of October, ticket sales for the final match of the blue-yellows in the group round of qualifying began.
