The Greek tennis player was injured during the first set
Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas due to injury he was forced to abandon the continuation of the match against the Dane Holgera Rune in the second round of the group stage Final tournament ATP Finals-2023.
The match was interrupted in the 17th minute of the first set with the score 2:1 in favor of the Danish tennis player. Let us note that in the opening game, on his serve, Rune managed to win back break points twice.
Later, the leaders of the quartet, Novak Djokovic and Yannick Zinner, will fight in Group A.
Let us remember that earlier Jannik Sinner was stronger than Stefanos Tsitsipas, and Novak Djokovic beat Holger Rune.
The two best tennis players from the quartet will advance to the playoffs. The final tournament in Turin, Italy will end on November 19.
