Dynamo forward scored the winning goal against Krivbass, Dnepr-1 achieved a strong-willed victory over Shakhtar
Attack Dynamo Vladislav Vanat recognized as the best player of the 14th round Ukrainian Premier League. Mentor SK Dnepr-1 Yuri Maksimov became the best coach.
Vanat scored for the first time since October 1, bringing the Kiev team a victory over the then championship leader Krivbass (2:0). In total, the 21-year-old forward has 5 goals and the same number of assists this season. Let us remember that Vanat was recognized as the best player of the first round of the current season – for his double against Minaya.
Yuri Maksimov became the head coach of Dnepr-1 on September 14, replacing Alexander Kucher and his coaching staff. The 54-year-old specialist took over a team that scored five points in four matches, was consistently eliminated from the qualifications of all three European Cups and parted ways with its strongest player, Artem Dovbik.
Under Yuriy, the Dnipro team scored 25 points in ten championship matches, with six of the eight victories coming to a clean sheet. In the 14th round, Maksimov’s team beat Shakhtar (3:1) and went into the international break as the leader of the UPL.
The Premier League will resume after the international break with the Shakhtar – Polissya match on November 24.
