The ex-Dynamo player played only four incomplete matches for the Croatian club
Information has appeared that the services of the Ukrainian Denis Garmash the current Croatian head coach is not interested Osijek Zoran Zekic.
Let us remind you that the 33-year-old midfielder moved to the Croatian club on September 6, signing a contract for one season with an option to extend for another year.
Under the then coach Stepan Thomas, Denis played regularly – three consecutive appearances in the championship (two as a starter), one in the Cup.
However, the team’s results during this period left much to be desired. In the three mentioned matches, Osijek managed to take only one point. And there was a change of coach, and together with Thomas, sports director Ivica Kulesevic also left the club.
Under the new coach, the team’s results improved dramatically. However, Zekich categorically does not favor the experienced Ukrainian – Garmash has not appeared on the field yet since the end of September. Perhaps the tactical restructuring also played a negative role for him – under the new coach, the team began to play with three defenders.
It is reported that Osijek is not against parting with the Dynamo legend this coming winter. The player’s agents are considering potential options from Hungary, Cyprus, Turkey, Kazakhstan and even Ukraine.
Osijek is currently in fifth place in the Croatian Championship, 11 points behind leader Hajduk.
