Russian football culture is robotic, says Rodina head coach Artiga

The head coach “Mother land” Frank Artiga spoke about the peculiarities of Russian football.

— What have you tried to transfer and adapt to the reality of Russian football from your experience at La Masia?

— There are many things, but I would like to start with something else. If we talk about player culture, it’s a bit robotic, but you get used to it little by little. They seem to have little freedom to show their talent. I will do my best for them to demonstrate their talent and not behave like robots. Players should not be like robots, they should not hesitate to show their talents,” Artiga said, as quoted by Metaratings.ru.

Artiga previously worked in the Barcelona system and the UAE youth teams.
