Fifty-nine years ago, on November 15, 1964, the football legend wore an Ajax shirt for the first time in the Eredivisie. Johan Cruyff makes his debut for the first team at the Osterpark stadium in Groningen. He entered the red-white youth sector on his tenth birthday together with his brother Hendrik. In his first year as a midfielder, he managed to score 74 goals at youth level and then won his first Student Championship at the age of fourteen. At sixteen, he also received his first contract with Ajax: manager Vic Buckingham called him into the field that November day, and the home team won 3–1.
