Lukashov and Pustovoy returned to the blue-yellow squad
coaching staff national team of Ukraine basketball team decided on an application for tomorrow’s match against Spain qualifying for the 2022 World Cup.
The application included 12 basketball players. Centers Vyacheslav Petrov and Vyacheslav Kravtsov will not play in tomorrow’s match.
It should be noted that the blue-and-yellow center Artem Pustovoi and defender Denis Lukashov returned to the application, having missed the last match between Ukraine and North Macedonia.
Application of the Ukrainian national team for the match with Spain:
- Defenders: Sidorov, Sanon, Zotov, Mikhailyuk, Lukashov;
- Forwards: Krutous, Tkachenko, Pavlov, Kovalev, Bobrov;
- Center: Skapintsev, Pustovoi.
On July 7, the team of Ainars Bagatskis will play a match against Spain in the qualifying group G. The match will take place at the Arena Riga, the match starts at 19:00 Kyiv time.
It should be noted that Bagatskis’ wards advanced ahead of schedule to the second round of the 2022 World Cup qualification, the matches of which will be held in August.
